| • The Gallery |
| since my computer was down for the past month, spammers took the time to spam the heck out of the gallery which required me again to go through dozens of pages to delete their spammy comments. due to the fact that this keeps occurring when ever our backs are turned [and sometimes not] i've decided for the time being that all registrations to the gallery must be approved by us. i know this is a hassle for you guys because that means you would have to wait on one of us to approve the account via e-mail and it depends when we get to check it, so i appologize for that but, until we can figure out another way to keep the spam down to a minimum, i'm afraid that is all i can do at this point. i will try to check my e-mails as often as i can. any requests for registration that looks fishy, will not be approved. unfortunately since people use weird names to register their accounts, its going to be hard to decipher what is legit. however, if by mistake we delete a true and honest registration, please send us a legit e-mail and we will work it out for you. hope you guys understand and we appologize again for any inconvienience. |
| • Good News and Bad News |
| I've got some good news and not so good news. Good news is that my computer is working! After having a guy come out to physically look at the computer it turns out that it was not a motherboard nor a harddrive issue. Both are fine. The reason I could not get the computer to boot to the desktop is because the harddrive was disabled!!! Why Dell didn't pick up on this, I don't know but, this is great news!! Bad news is.. I have yet to re-install everything back on to the computer, including the files for the site. I will be working on that shortly so please, bear with me on that. Also, I maybe moving back home to CA in a couple months, maybe sooner as my father is ill with cancer. Has had it for some years and the chemo is not working. They are talking about doing surgery. If that is the case, I will be going come sooner than two months. However, I will try my hardest to get done what I can before I leave and thank you again for the patience. - Jolene |
| • Still Not Fixed |
To my dismay, my computer is still down. After re-installing windows and going around the block with microsoft and dell, the final conclusion from dell is that I either have a hardrive or a motherboard issue although, they believe it is the motherboard. I'm not so sure so, I'm having a guy look at it on Tuesday to confirm what the issue is. If indeed it is a motherboard problem, I will not be replacing it as it is integrated. Plus, the computer is 6 years old and I have already put over $800 dollars in hardware to upgrade it. I will be financing a new computer if that is the case. If its a harddrive, I might dish out the money for it but, I don't know yet. I'll keep you all informed when I can. As of now, I'm using someone else's computer just to check on e-mail ect. I certainly appologize for not updating the site but, sometimes we can't help these things. I do hope you guys will keep visiting until then and keep the faith of Eman alive!! xoxoxo - Jolene |
| • Computer Issues and A Break |
My computer is having some issues at the moment. I thought I could fix it but, nothing seems to be working so, it looks as though I have to re-install windows. That means that I have to back-up all my files then, re-install everything which will take sometime to do. I'm also taking a vacation for about 3 weeks. I maybe back sooner but, I don't know. I'll let you know when I do come back. I do appologize for the lack of updates. Hopefully I'll have something when I return.  |

Degrassi-Web[dot]net:  click on the button link to check it it out!!  also.. there will be a surprise coming very soon. can't say what it is but, it is something i think you guys will enjoy seeing since, there really isn't one to speak of on the internet. i'm in the works with this with my good friend and host, Chrissy. however, there is some work to be had and i'm not sure when it will get finished but, hopefully soon! i know i'm excited about it and i'm sure you will be too. until then.. i hope you have a great evening!! |
